NSW Opportunity Class Practice Test
Help your Year 4 child feel confident and prepared for the OC placement test. AcePrep uses AI to identify areas that need more practice and builds a personalised study plan around them.
What is the NSW Opportunity Class Placement Test?
The Opportunity Class (OC) placement test is administered by the NSW Department of Education for high-potential Year 4 students seeking entry into Year 5 Opportunity Classes at designated government primary schools across NSW.
It is a computer-based test sat at an external test centre (usually a local high school). Computers are provided on the day. All questions are multiple-choice and the test draws on concepts from the NSW curriculum up to Year 4 that students learn at school. No special or extra knowledge is required.
Familiarising your child with the test format and the types of questions can help them feel more confident on test day. AcePrep lets them practise in a low-pressure environment, with AI identifying areas that may need more revision.
